Vacation Bible School

All this week both Needles and Cur will be helping out at their local
Church's Vacation Bible School!
Needles is the organizing master mind behind all the food it takes to feed
the multitude of young children, plus all those adults involved in teaching
Summer Vacation Bible School.
As for Cur, he is in charge of seeing that the right age groups to the right
classes, pay attention while in class, and are both well mannered and
behaved during their snack time.
Just what were the powers that be thinking when they gave Cur that job?

Yes, they did, but Needles is very good at making fun food snacks for the
children, the snacks all have a Biblical theme for that days lessons.
The problem is that for the very young children, the Bible classes are
taught a little above their learning level.
Now Curs job was to Shepard those children from one class to another and see
that they behaved in class!
Cur was also put in charge of play-time with the young children, in which he
was observed explaining just what their bible class had been about, but he
could do it in a fun way.
Now everyone wants him to be the story teller for the little children,
Needles is just a shade jealous, but she is not sure if she wants to be the
next playground monitor.
Still she would like to get out of the kitchen, but she really only has
experience in teaching at a 12th grade level.
Needles jokes that Cur is so much at home teaching the pre-schoolers and
kindergarten kids because he is at their level intellectually.
As for the older kids middle school age Cur terrifies them with his sense of
humor and wit.
Needles is slowly learning to get in touch with her inner child, but it goes
against the grain of 30+ years of not being allowed to when she was a high
school teacher.
