AUSTRALIA the latest Hollywood movie is nothing more than a very inferior
remake of the classic 1946 Australian move "The Overlanders"
While the former movie AUSTRALIA is a make-believe love story,
yes it is set to back-drop time of when the Japanese bombed Darwin,
shortly after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.
The Overlanders is however based upon a real life event.
A true story of both courage and tenacity against almost impossible
odds and the extreme harshness of the Australian Outback.
